By downloading, installing, or using 50ish ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

50ish is a relationship fairness tracking application that allows couples to:

• Track shared expenses and financial contributions
• Log effort and invisible labor contributions
• View fairness metrics and receive balance suggestions
• Maintain transparency in relationship contributions

3. User Accounts

To use 50ish, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use 50ish only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the App in any way that violates any applicable law or regulation
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's operation
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the App
• Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm another person

5. Subscription and Payments

50ish offers both free and premium subscription tiers:

• Free Tier: Limited to 30 expense logs and 10 effort logs per month
• Premium Subscriptions:
  • Weekly: $1.99/week
  • Monthly: $4.99/month
  • Yearly: $14.99/year (with introductory offer)
  • Lifetime: $19.99 (one-time purchase)

All payments are processed through Apple's App Store. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

6. Content and Data

You retain all rights to the data you input into 50ish. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to use this data solely for the purpose of providing the service. We will not share your personal data with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by 50ish and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

50ish is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
• The App will meet your specific requirements
• The results obtained from using the App will be accurate or reliable

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, 50ish shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

10. Relationship Advice Disclaimer

50ish is a tracking and visualization tool only. It does not provide professional relationship counseling, financial advice, or therapeutic services. The insights and suggestions provided are algorithmic and should not replace professional guidance when needed.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the App immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms in the App and updating the "Effective Date" above.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
