Data on Your Device

What you enter in Apart is stored on your device.

AI Features

The AI Divorce Guide (part of Apart Pro) sends only the question you type, or the suggested question you tap, one question at a time; earlier questions and answers are not sent again. Before sending, Apart replaces the names saved in the app (yours, your spouse's, your children's, both attorneys' and the mediator's) with neutral words such as [my spouse] or [child]. Nothing else is attached: not your case details, stage or deadlines, documents, communication log, assets, debts or expenses, custody plans, or your Apple Account. A name Apart does not know is sent as you type it. Apart asks before the first question and sends nothing until you tap Allow; you can switch the AI Guide off at any time in Profile > AI Guide data sharing. Answers are general information, not legal advice. It goes to xAI (Grok), which writes the answer.

Requests pass through our server, hosted on Cloudflare, which forwards them without storing their content. We don't add your Apple ID or email address to these requests, and we don't keep copies of them. The provider processes each request under its own privacy policy: xAI (Grok). Please don't enter information you wouldn't want to share with the AI provider.

We process this because you asked for it and allowed it (GDPR art. 6(1)(a) and (b)); you can withdraw your permission at any time in Profile > AI Guide data sharing.

Sign in with Apple

If you sign in with Apple, Apple gives the app an anonymous identifier and, only if you choose to share them, your name and email address. They stay on your device (and in your iCloud if sync is on); we don't run an account server.

Purchases and Refund Requests

Purchases in Apart are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to keep track of your subscription status; RevenueCat receives the purchase records Apple provides and an app user ID, never your name or the content you store in the app. RevenueCat Privacy Policy.

If you ask Apple for a refund of a purchase made in Apart, Apple may ask us for information about that purchase. By making a purchase, you consent to us (through RevenueCat) sharing the following with Apple for that request: how long you have had the app, how much of the purchased period has been used, whether the purchase was delivered, and the total amount you have spent and been refunded in Apart. We may also tell Apple whether we think the refund should be granted. Apple makes the final decision. We never share the content you store in the app.

No Analytics, Ads or Tracking

Apart contains no analytics or advertising SDKs. We do not track you across apps or websites, and we do not sell your data or share it for advertising.

Children

Apart is not directed at children under 13.

Your Rights

You can delete the data on your device by deleting the app. If you are in the EU, UK or a similar jurisdiction, you have the right to access, correct, delete and move your data, to object to its processing, and to complain to your data protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, email karoljaworsky@gmail.com.

Changes

We update this page whenever what Apart sends changes; the date at the top shows the current version.
