Booth is made by Karol Jaworski ("we"). This policy explains what leaves your device when you use Booth, who receives it and why. Questions: karoljaworsky@gmail.com.
What you enter in Booth is stored on your device. If iCloud is turned on for the app, it is also synced to your private iCloud account, which Apple operates and we cannot access.
Some features in Booth use artificial intelligence. When you use one, your request - the text you type and the Booth information needed to answer it, such as your entries and statistics - is sent to xAI (Grok) to generate the answer. This happens only when you use an AI feature.
Requests pass through our server, hosted on Cloudflare, which forwards them without storing their content. We don't add your Apple ID or email address to these requests, and we don't keep copies of them. The provider processes each request under its own privacy policy: xAI (Grok). Please don't enter information you wouldn't want to share with the AI provider.
We process this to provide the feature you asked for (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)).
If you sign in with Apple, Apple gives the app an anonymous identifier and, only if you choose to share them, your name and email address. They stay on your device (and in your iCloud if sync is on); we don't run an account server.
Purchases in Booth are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to keep track of your subscription status; RevenueCat receives the purchase records Apple provides and an app user ID, never your name or the content you store in the app. RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
If you ask Apple for a refund of a purchase made in Booth, Apple may ask us for information about that purchase. By making a purchase, you consent to us (through RevenueCat) sharing the following with Apple for that request: how long you have had the app, how much of the purchased period has been used, whether the purchase was delivered, and the total amount you have spent and been refunded in Booth. We may also tell Apple whether we think the refund should be granted. Apple makes the final decision. We never share the content you store in the app.
Booth contains no analytics or advertising SDKs. We do not track you across apps or websites, and we do not sell your data or share it for advertising.
Booth is not directed at children under 13.
You can delete the data on your device by deleting the app and data synced to iCloud from iOS Settings → your name → iCloud. If you are in the EU, UK or a similar jurisdiction, you have the right to access, correct, delete and move your data, to object to its processing, and to complain to your data protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, email karoljaworsky@gmail.com.
We update this page whenever what Booth sends changes; the date at the top shows the current version.
