Overview

Broth helps you plan cooks, track bowl logs, manage subscriptions, and optionally use an AI ramen advisor. We do not sell personal data and we do not use ad tracking.

Data We Collect

Ramen data you create such as projects, timelines, saved recipes, bowl logs, and profile preferences.
Subscription status from Apple StoreKit so the app can unlock or restore Broth Pro features.
Optional Sign in with Apple information such as your Apple user identifier and, if Apple provides it during sign-in, your given name.
AI advisor requests when you use the AI Ramen Advisor. Your prompt is sent securely to our proxy service so it can return an answer.

How We Use Data

To save your ramen projects and preferences.
To sync your data with your private iCloud account when iCloud is available.
To verify, unlock, and restore subscription features.
To generate responses when you use the AI Ramen Advisor.

Storage and Sync

Your app data is stored locally on your device using SwiftData. If iCloud sync is available on your device, Broth may also sync that data to your private iCloud/CloudKit account so it is available across your devices signed into the same Apple ID.

Third-Party Services

Apple StoreKit / App Store for purchases, renewals, and subscription restoration.
Apple CloudKit / iCloud for optional private sync of your content.
Sign in with Apple if you choose to sign in.
Cloudflare Worker proxy and Grok service to process AI advisor requests that you explicitly submit.

No Tracking or Ads

Broth does not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and Broth does not serve third-party advertising.

Your Choices

You can delete all app data from inside the app using Profile → Delete All Data.
If you signed in with Apple, you can use Profile → Delete Account to clear local data and remove the stored account connection in the app.
You can stop iCloud sync by disabling iCloud for Broth in your Apple device settings.
