Privacy Policy

Lergy · Last updated: October 6, 2026

Lergy is made by Karol Jaworski ("we"). This policy explains what leaves your device when you use Lergy, who receives it and why. Questions: karoljaworsky@gmail.com.

Data on Your Device

What you enter in Lergy (meals, photos, symptoms, daily check-ins, elimination plans and notes) is stored on your device. If iCloud is turned on for the app, it is also synced to your private iCloud account, which Apple operates and we cannot access. We do not receive any of it.

AI Allergy Advisor

The AI Allergy Advisor (part of Lergy Pro) answers general questions about food allergies and intolerances. Before your first question leaves your device, Lergy shows exactly what will be sent and asks for your permission; nothing is sent until you tap Allow. You can turn the advisor off or back on at any time in the app under Profile > Privacy > AI Allergy Advisor.

Each time you tap Ask, Lergy sends only the question you type, together with Lergy's fixed instructions to the AI (the same text for everyone, saying nothing about you), to xAI (Grok) to generate the answer. Your meals, symptoms, check-ins, elimination plans, photos, notes, name, Apple ID and email address are never sent.

Requests pass through our server, hosted on Cloudflare, which forwards them without storing their content; we don't keep copies. Standard connection details, which can include your IP address, may reach xAI with the request. xAI processes each request under its own privacy policy: xAI (Grok). Please don't type information you wouldn't want to share with the AI provider, such as names.

We send your question only with your consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a), and art. 9(2)(a) where the question concerns your health). You can withdraw it at any time in the app; questions already answered are not stored by us.

The advisor gives general information, not medical advice, and cannot tell you that a food is safe for you.

Sign in with Apple

If you sign in with Apple, Apple gives the app an anonymous identifier and, only if you choose to share them, your name and email address. They stay on your device (and in your iCloud if sync is on); we don't run an account server.

Purchases and Refund Requests

Purchases in Lergy are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to keep track of your subscription status; RevenueCat receives the purchase records Apple provides and an app user ID, never your name or the content you store in the app. RevenueCat Privacy Policy.

If you ask Apple for a refund of a purchase made in Lergy, Apple may ask us for information about that purchase. By making a purchase, you consent to us (through RevenueCat) sharing the following with Apple for that request: how long you have had the app, how much of the purchased period has been used, whether the purchase was delivered, and the total amount you have spent and been refunded in Lergy. We may also tell Apple whether we think the refund should be granted. Apple makes the final decision. We never share the content you store in the app.

No Analytics, Ads or Tracking

Lergy contains no analytics or advertising SDKs. We do not track you across apps or websites, and we do not sell your data or share it for advertising.

Children

Lergy is not directed at children under 13.

Your Rights

In the app, Profile > Delete All Data deletes everything you entered, on this device and, when iCloud sync is on, from your iCloud. You can also delete the app, and remove data synced to iCloud from iOS Settings → your name → iCloud. If you are in the EU, UK or a similar jurisdiction, you have the right to access, correct, delete and move your data, to object to its processing, and to complain to your data protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, email karoljaworsky@gmail.com.

Changes

We update this page whenever what Lergy sends changes; the date at the top shows the current version.
