Overview

Marrow helps you track raw feeding information for your dogs. We do not sell your data, we do not use advertising SDKs, and we do not track you across apps or websites.

Data You Enter in the App

Dog profiles, meal logs, freezer inventory, meal plans, and similar feeding records are stored on your device so the app can function. Marrow does not send this data to our servers as part of normal app use.

Sign in with Apple

Sign in with Apple is optional. If you choose to use it, Marrow stores the Apple user identifier returned by Apple on your device so the app can remember that you signed in. If Apple shares your name or email during the initial authorization flow, that information is only used to complete the sign-in experience in the app.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions are handled by Apple through StoreKit. Apple processes billing and payment information. Marrow only checks your subscription status so Pro features can be unlocked on your device.

AI Features and Data Sharing

Marrow includes an optional AI Advisor feature for Pro subscribers. Before the AI Advisor sends anything, the app shows a consent screen that explains what is shared and requires your permission.

What data is sent: only the free-form question text that you type into the AI Advisor.

What is not sent automatically: Marrow does not automatically attach your dog profiles, meal logs, freezer inventory, account details, or other saved app data to AI requests.

Who receives it: your question text is sent to xAI's Grok AI service through our secure proxy server so a response can be generated. You can review xAI's privacy policy here: https://x.ai/legal/privacy-policy.

How it is protected: AI requests are transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Our proxy server is used only to relay the request securely. Avoid entering personal or sensitive information in the AI question field.

Your choice: you can decline AI data sharing and continue using the rest of Marrow without the AI Advisor.

Notifications

If you enable notifications, Marrow stores that preference on your device. Marrow does not use a third-party notification analytics service.

Third-Party Services

Apple StoreKit - manages subscriptions and purchase restoration.

Sign in with Apple - provides optional Apple account authentication.

xAI Grok - processes optional AI Advisor question text after you grant consent.

No Analytics or Tracking

Marrow does not use Firebase Analytics, ad tech SDKs, or cross-app tracking.

Your Choices

You can delete your local app data from inside the app by using Delete All Data, or remove the app from your device. If you signed in with Apple, you can also use the in-app Delete Account flow to remove the stored sign-in state from Marrow.
