Wax is made by Karol Jaworski ("we"). This policy explains what leaves your device when you use Wax, who receives it and why. Questions: karoljaworsky@gmail.com.
What you enter in Wax is stored on your device. If iCloud is turned on for the app, it is also synced to your private iCloud account, which Apple operates and we cannot access.
Record searches are sent to Discogs to find matching releases. Nothing else from the app is included.
If you sign in with Apple, Apple gives the app an anonymous identifier and, only if you choose to share them, your name and email address. They stay on your device (and in your iCloud if sync is on); we don't run an account server.
Wax contains no analytics or advertising SDKs. We do not track you across apps or websites, and we do not sell your data or share it for advertising.
Wax is not directed at children under 13.
You can delete the data on your device by deleting the app and data synced to iCloud from iOS Settings → your name → iCloud. If you are in the EU, UK or a similar jurisdiction, you have the right to access, correct, delete and move your data, to object to its processing, and to complain to your data protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, email karoljaworsky@gmail.com.
We update this page whenever what Wax sends changes; the date at the top shows the current version.
