1. Copyright Information

KidSpend and all related materials, including but not limited to software, graphics, text, photographs, videos, music, sound, trademarks, logos, and other content (collectively, the "Content") are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

2. Ownership

KidSpend owns or has licensed rights to all intellectual property in the KidSpend mobile application and related services, including:

• Software Code: All source code, object code, and executable files
• User Interface: Application design, layout, graphics, and visual elements
• Content: Text, images, icons, and multimedia content
• Trademarks: KidSpend name, logo, and associated marks
• Trade Secrets: Proprietary algorithms and business methods
• Documentation: User guides, help content, and technical documentation

3. Permitted Uses

Subject to your compliance with our Terms of Service and this Copyright Notice, you may:

• Download and use the KidSpend application on your personal devices
• Create backup copies for personal use
• Take screenshots for personal reference or support purposes
• Share general information about KidSpend in reviews or recommendations

4. Prohibited Uses

You may NOT, without our express written permission:

• Copy, reproduce, or distribute the KidSpend application or any part thereof
• Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on KidSpend
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application
• Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
• Use KidSpend's name, logo, or trademarks in any commercial context
• Extract or reuse any Content for commercial purposes
• Create competing applications using our intellectual property

5. Third-Party Content

KidSpend may include or reference third-party content, including:

• Open Source Software: Components licensed under various open source licenses
• Apple Frameworks: iOS SDK components subject to Apple's licensing terms
• Images and Icons: Licensed from third-party providers
• Fonts: System fonts and licensed typefaces

Such third-party content remains the property of their respective owners and is subject to their own licensing terms.

6. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of any content you create or upload to KidSpend, including:

• Expense descriptions and notes
• Receipt photographs
• Child information and photos
• Custom category names

However, you grant KidSpend a limited license to process and store this content solely for the purpose of providing our services.

7. Trademark Information

7.1 KidSpend Trademarks

The following are trademarks or registered trademarks of KidSpend:

• "KidSpend" (word mark)
• KidSpend logo and design marks
• Application icons and distinctive graphics

7.2 Trademark Usage Guidelines

If you wish to reference KidSpend in any public context:

• Use "KidSpend" as an adjective, not a noun
• Include appropriate trademark symbols (™ or ®) when required
• Do not modify or alter our trademarks
• Do not use our trademarks in a way that suggests endorsement
• Contact us for permission before any commercial use

8. DMCA Takedown Procedures

8.1 Filing a DMCA Notice

To file a DMCA takedown notice, please provide the following information to our designated agent:

1. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
2. Identification of the infringing material and its location in KidSpend
3. Your contact information including name, address, phone number, and email
4. A statement of good faith belief that the use is not authorized
5. A statement of accuracy under penalty of perjury
6. Your physical or electronic signature

If you believe content was removed in error, you may file a counter-notification including:

• Identification of the removed content
• Your contact information
• A statement under penalty of perjury that removal was a mistake
• Consent to jurisdiction of federal court

9. Copyright Compliance

KidSpend respects intellectual property rights and expects users to do the same. We may:

• Remove content that infringes copyright
• Terminate accounts of repeat infringers
• Cooperate with law enforcement regarding copyright violations
• Implement technical measures to prevent infringement

KidSpend's intellectual property is protected under:

• Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works
• World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) treaties
• Applicable laws in countries where KidSpend is available

11. Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you discover content in KidSpend that you believe infringes copyright:

1. Document the allegedly infringing content
2. Gather evidence of your copyright ownership
3. Follow our DMCA takedown procedures
4. Submit your notice to our designated agent
5. Allow reasonable time for investigation and response

12. License Grants

12.1 Limited License to Users

Subject to these terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use KidSpend solely for personal, non-commercial purposes.

12.2 No Transfer of Ownership

This license does not transfer any ownership rights to you. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by KidSpend.

13. Enforcement

KidSpend actively protects its intellectual property rights and will pursue legal action against infringers. Violations may result in:

• Cease and desist notices
• Injunctive relief
• Monetary damages
• Attorney's fees and costs
• Criminal prosecution (where applicable)
