1. Overview
KidSpend offers optional Premium subscription plans that unlock additional features and capabilities. These Subscription Terms govern your purchase and use of KidSpend Premium subscriptions.
2. Available Subscription Plans

3. Premium Features
KidSpend Premium subscriptions include access to the following enhanced features:
- AI Smart Insights: Personalized spending analysis and budget recommendations
- Unlimited Categories: Create custom spending categories for better organization
- Export & Sharing: Export data to CSV/PDF for tax purposes and financial planning
- Cloud Sync: Automatic backup and sync across all your devices via iCloud
- Advanced Analytics: Detailed charts, trends, and spending patterns
- Receipt OCR: Automatic text extraction from receipt photos
- Milestone Tracking: Enhanced milestone and special occasion tracking
- Priority Support: Faster response times for customer support
4. Free Trial
4.1 Eligibility
- Free trials are available for Monthly and Yearly subscriptions only
- Limited to new subscribers who have never had a KidSpend Premium subscription
- One free trial per Apple ID
4.2 Trial Period
- Free trial lasts for 7 days
- Full access to all Premium features during trial
- No charges during the trial period
4.3 Trial to Paid Conversion
- Trial automatically converts to paid subscription unless canceled
- First billing occurs immediately after trial ends
- Cancel anytime during trial to avoid charges
5. Billing and Payment
5.1 Payment Processing
- All payments processed through Apple's App Store
- Payment charged to your iTunes Account
- Apple's payment terms and conditions apply
5.2 Automatic Renewal
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled
- Renewal charge occurs 24 hours before current period ends
- Renewal is for the same duration as original subscription
5.3 Price Changes
- Subscription prices may change from time to time
- Price changes do not affect active subscriptions until renewal
- You will be notified of price changes in advance
- You may cancel before price increase takes effect
6. Cancellation
6.1 How to Cancel
- Open Settings app on your iOS device
- Tap your name at the top
- Tap "Subscriptions"
- Find KidSpend Premium and tap it
- Tap "Cancel Subscription"
6.2 When Cancellation Takes Effect
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of current billing period
- You continue to have Premium access until period ends
- No partial refunds for unused portion of billing period
6.3 Reactivation
- You can reactivate canceled subscriptions anytime
- Reactivation starts a new billing cycle
- Previous trial eligibility does not reset
7. Refunds
7.1 Refund Policy
- All refund requests are handled by Apple, not KidSpend
- Refunds are subject to Apple's refund policy
- Generally, refunds are not provided for change of mind
7.2 How to Request Refund
- Visit reportaproblem.apple.com
- Sign in with your Apple ID
- Find your KidSpend Premium purchase
- Select "Request a refund"
- Follow Apple's instructions
7.3 Refund Processing
- Refund decisions are made solely by Apple
- Processing time varies (typically 3-5 business days)
- Refunded subscriptions are immediately revoked
8. Account Sharing and Family Sharing
8.1 Personal Use
- Subscriptions are intended for personal use only
- Each Apple ID requires its own subscription
- Commercial use is prohibited
8.2 Family Sharing
- KidSpend Premium subscriptions are not currently enabled for Apple Family Sharing
- Each family member needs their own subscription
- We may enable Family Sharing in future updates
9. Technical Requirements
- iOS 17.0 or later required
- Compatible with iPhone and iPad
- Internet connection required for subscription management
- iCloud account required for Cloud Sync feature
10. Subscription Management
10.1 Viewing Subscription Status
Check your subscription status in:
- KidSpend app Settings → Account section
- iOS Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions
10.2 Changing Plans
- You can upgrade or downgrade plans anytime
- Changes take effect at next billing cycle
- Prorated refunds may apply when downgrading
11. Promotional Offers
11.1 Eligibility
- Promotional offers may be available from time to time
- Eligibility restrictions may apply
- Cannot be combined with other offers
11.2 Terms
- Promotional pricing is temporary
- Regular pricing applies after promotion ends
- Specific terms provided with each promotion
12. Service Availability
- Premium features require internet connection for initial activation
- Most features work offline after activation
- Cloud Sync requires active internet connection
- Service availability may vary by region
13. Changes to Subscription Terms
We may modify these Subscription Terms from time to time. Changes will be communicated through:
- In-app notifications
- Email notifications (if provided)
- Updates to this document
Continued use of Premium services after changes constitutes acceptance of new terms.
