Application Copyright

The Rekolla mobile application, including but not limited to its design, functionality, user interface, graphics, text, code, and overall "look and feel," is protected by copyright laws and international copyright treaties.

Ownership and Rights

Our Intellectual Property

Application Software: The Rekolla app code, algorithms, and functionality
User Interface: Design elements, layouts, color schemes, and visual components
Graphics and Icons: All custom graphics, icons, and visual assets
Branding: Rekolla name, logo, and associated trademarks
Content Templates: Pre-designed memory templates and themes
Documentation: User guides, help content, and promotional materials

Your Content Rights

Important: You retain full ownership and copyright of all personal content you create within the Rekolla app, including:

Photos and images you upload
Text entries and memories you write
Voice recordings you create
Videos you add to your memories
Any other personal content you generate

We do not claim ownership of your personal memories and content. You grant us only the limited rights necessary to provide our service (storage, display, backup, etc.).

Third-Party Content

Rekolla may include content licensed from third parties:

System Icons: Apple SF Symbols (used under Apple's license)
Fonts: System fonts provided by Apple
Libraries: Open source libraries (credited in app settings)

Permitted Use

Subject to these terms and our End User License Agreement, you may:

Use the Rekolla app for personal, non-commercial purposes
Take screenshots of your own content for personal sharing
Export your personal data and memories

Prohibited Use

You may not, without our explicit written permission:

Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the app
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
Remove or alter copyright notices or branding
Use our designs or interface elements in other applications
Distribute, sell, or commercially exploit any part of the app
Create competing applications using our intellectual property

Copyright Infringement Claims

If you believe your copyrighted work has been infringed within our app, please contact us immediately with the following information:

A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
A description of where the alleged infringing material is located in our app
Your contact information
A statement of good faith belief that the use is not authorized
A statement that the information provided is accurate
Your electronic or physical signature

Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA)

We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. If you believe content in our app infringes your copyright, you may file a DMCA takedown notice.

Open Source Components

Rekolla may use open source software components. Credits and licenses for these components can be found in the app settings under "Open Source Licenses."

Updates and Modifications

Copyright in updates and modifications to the app remain with Rekolla
New features and functionality are protected under this copyright notice
User-generated content remains owned by users

International Copyright

This copyright notice applies worldwide. Rekolla respects international copyright laws and expects users to do the same.
