3. Data Storage and Security

Local Storage

TaskClan primarily stores your family's data locally on your device using SwiftData. This means:

• Your family's task and activity data stays on your device
• We don't have access to your personal family information
• Data is not transmitted to external servers unless explicitly needed

Cloud Backup (Optional)

If you enable iCloud backup, your TaskClan data may be included in your device's iCloud backup, subject to Apple's privacy policy.

Security Measures

• Data encryption both in transit and at rest
• Secure authentication through Apple's Sign in with Apple

Account Deletion

You can delete your TaskClan account at any time through the app settings. This will:

• Remove your account from our systems

7. Subscription and Billing Privacy

For Premium subscriptions:

• Billing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store
• We receive only subscription status information
• Your payment information is never shared with us
• Subscription management occurs through your Apple ID settings

8. International Users

TaskClan is available worldwide. If you're using our app outside the United States:

• Your data remains on your local device
