Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
HomeHero is designed for family use and may be used by children between the ages of 6 and 16 under parental supervision. We are committed to complying with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
Parental Consent
Parents or legal guardians must create and manage family accounts. Children's profiles are created and managed by parents within the family group.
Children's Data Collection
For child users within a family group, we collect only:
- Name (first name only, as entered by parent)
- Avatar preference
- Task completion data
- XP, streak, and reward data
Parental Controls
Parents have full control over their children's data and can:
- Review their children's information
- Request deletion of their children's data
- Refuse to permit further collection of their children's information
- Remove children from the family group
No Direct Marketing to Children
We do not knowingly market to or collect personal information from children for marketing purposes.
Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
- Service Providers: With Supabase, RevenueCat, and authentication providers as necessary to operate the App
- Family Members: Within your family group, certain data (task completion, progress) is shared with other family members
