Overview
HomeHero offers premium features through various subscription plans and a one-time lifetime purchase option. These Subscription Terms govern your purchase and use of paid features within the App. By subscribing to HomeHero Premium, you agree to these terms.
Subscription Plans and Pricing
Available Plans
Note: Prices are in US Dollars (USD). Prices in other currencies may vary based on local App Store pricing. All prices are subject to applicable taxes.
Free Trial
HomeHero offers a 3-day free trial for first-time subscribers to Monthly and Yearly plans.
Trial Terms
- Duration: 3 days from the moment you subscribe
- Eligibility: Available only to new subscribers who have never subscribed to HomeHero Premium
- Full Access: During the trial, you have complete access to all premium features
- Cancellation: You can cancel anytime during the trial period without charge
- Auto-Renewal: If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be automatically charged and your paid subscription will begin
- One Trial Per User: The free trial is limited to one per Apple ID
Trial Start and End
Your trial begins immediately when you subscribe. The exact end time is displayed in the subscription confirmation. To avoid charges, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
Subscription Features
HomeHero Premium includes:
- Unlimited Family Members: Add unlimited users to your family group (free version limited to 4 members)
- Cloud Sync: Automatic synchronization across all your devices
- Family Sharing: Share tasks, challenges, and progress with family members
- Advanced Analytics: Detailed insights into task completion and family productivity
- Custom Rewards: Create unlimited custom rewards for family members
- Priority Support: Faster response to support inquiries
- Ad-Free Experience: No advertisements or promotional content
- Exclusive Features: Early access to new features and updates
Auto-Renewal
All recurring subscriptions (Monthly and Yearly) automatically renew unless you cancel before the renewal date.
How Auto-Renewal Works
- Automatic Billing: Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period
- Same Price: You will be charged the then-current subscription price (prices may change with notice)
- Apple Account: Charges are processed through your Apple ID account
- 24-Hour Window: Your account will be charged within 24 hours before the current period ends
- Renewal Date: The renewal date is based on your original subscription date
Managing Auto-Renewal
You can turn off auto-renewal at any time through your Apple ID account settings. Auto-renewal must be disabled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period to avoid being charged for the next period.
Lifetime Purchase
The Lifetime option is a one-time purchase that provides permanent access to HomeHero Premium features.
Lifetime Terms
- One-Time Payment: $49.99 (USD) - no recurring charges
- Permanent Access: Access to all premium features for as long as the app exists
- All Devices: Valid across all devices logged in with your Apple ID
- No Expiration: Never expires, no renewal required
- Future Updates: Includes all future premium features at no additional cost
- Non-Transferable: Cannot be transferred to another Apple ID
Billing and Payment
Payment Processing
All payments are processed through Apple's App Store using your Apple ID payment method. HomeHero does not directly process or store your payment information.
Payment Methods
You can use any payment method accepted by the Apple App Store, including:
- Credit or debit cards
- Apple Pay
- Apple ID balance
- Carrier billing (where available)
Failed Payments
If a payment fails:
- Apple will attempt to process the payment again
- You may temporarily lose access to premium features
- Your subscription may be canceled if payment cannot be processed
- You are responsible for keeping your payment information current
Cancellation Policy
How to Cancel
To cancel your subscription:
- Open the Settings app on your iOS device
- Tap your name at the top
- Tap Subscriptions
- Select HomeHero
- Tap Cancel Subscription
Alternatively, you can manage subscriptions through the App Store app or iTunes on your computer.
Cancellation Timing
- During Trial: Cancel anytime to avoid being charged
- Paid Subscription: Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid next billing cycle
- Access Continues: You retain access to premium features until the end of the current billing period
- No Partial Refunds: Cancellation does not provide a refund for the current period
After Cancellation
When your subscription ends:
- You will lose access to premium features
- Your data will be retained for 90 days in case you resubscribe
- You can continue using the free version of HomeHero
- Family members beyond the free limit will need to be removed
Refund Policy
Apple's Refund Policy
All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's refund policies. HomeHero does not directly process refunds.
Requesting a Refund
To request a refund from Apple:
- Visit reportaproblem.apple.com
- Sign in with your Apple ID
- Find your HomeHero purchase
- Click "Report a Problem"
- Select your reason and submit
Refund Eligibility
Refunds are granted at Apple's sole discretion. Common reasons for refund requests include:
- Accidental purchase
- Technical issues preventing use
- Unauthorized purchase
- App not as described
Note: Refund requests are typically most successful if made within 14 days of purchase.
Price Changes
We reserve the right to change subscription prices at any time. Price changes will affect new subscribers immediately and existing subscribers at their next renewal.
Notice of Price Changes
- We will notify you of significant price increases via email or in-app notification
- For existing subscribers, price changes take effect at the next renewal period
- You will have the opportunity to cancel before the price increase takes effect
- Continuing your subscription after notice of a price change constitutes acceptance
Family Sharing
HomeHero Premium subscriptions support Apple's Family Sharing feature, allowing you to share your subscription with family members.
Family Sharing Terms
- Up to 6 People: Share with up to 5 additional family members (6 total)
- Same Benefits: All family members get full premium access
- Organizer Pays: The family organizer's payment method is charged
- One Subscription: Only one subscription needed for the entire family group
- Separate Accounts: Each family member uses their own Apple ID and HomeHero account
- Lifetime Eligible: Lifetime purchases can also be shared
Setting Up Family Sharing
Family Sharing must be configured through your Apple ID settings. Visit Apple's support site for instructions on setting up Family Sharing.
Geographic Availability
HomeHero subscriptions are available worldwide wherever the Apple App Store operates. Prices may vary by country and are displayed in your local currency in the App Store.
Taxes
Subscription prices do not include applicable taxes. Taxes are calculated and charged by Apple based on your billing address and local tax laws.
Subscription Transfer
Subscriptions are tied to your Apple ID and cannot be transferred to another Apple ID. If you change devices but use the same Apple ID, your subscription will remain active.
Restoration of Purchases
If you reinstall HomeHero or install it on a new device with the same Apple ID, you can restore your subscription at no charge. Use the "Restore Purchases" option in the app.
Service Interruptions
While we strive for 99.9% uptime, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access to premium features. We are not liable for temporary service interruptions, but we will work to resolve issues promptly.
Changes to Features
We may add, modify, or remove premium features at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify subscribers of significant changes to features included in their subscription.
Account Termination
We reserve the right to terminate your subscription and access to premium features if you:
- Violate these Subscription Terms or our Terms of Service
- Engage in fraudulent activity
- Abuse or exploit the service
- Share your account with non-family members
Terminated accounts are not eligible for refunds.
Third-Party Services
Subscription management uses RevenueCat for subscription analytics and cross-platform support. RevenueCat's privacy policy and terms apply to their services.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Subscription Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of premium features after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
