By downloading, installing, or using the Tellie mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you don't agree to these Terms, please don't use our App.

Tellie is an AI-powered iOS application that creates interactive bedtime stories for children. Our service includes:

• Story Generation: AI-created personalized bedtime stories
• Interactive Features: Voice and text input for story participation
• Story Archive: Ability to save and revisit favorite stories
• Premium Features: Enhanced functionality through subscription

3. Age Requirements and Parental Consent

• Parental Responsibility: Parents/guardians must set up and manage all accounts
• Supervision Required: Children should use the App under adult supervision
• COPPA Compliance: We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act
• Account Management: Parents control all settings, subscriptions, and data

4. Subscription and Pricing

Subscription Terms

• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
• Billing: Charged to your Apple ID account
• Cancellation: Cancel anytime in your Apple ID Account Settings
• Refunds: Managed by Apple according to their refund policy
• Free Trial: If offered, converts to paid subscription unless cancelled

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Tellie responsibly and appropriately:

You MAY:

• Create bedtime stories for personal family use
• Save and share stories within your family
• Use voice input for story interaction
• Customize story themes and characters

You MAY NOT:

• Use the App for commercial purposes
• Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the App
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use the App to create inappropriate content
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

6. Content and Intellectual Property

Your Content

• Story Input: You retain rights to your story ideas and input
• Generated Stories: You may use generated stories for personal, non-commercial purposes
• Voice Recordings: Processed on-device and immediately deleted

Our Content

• App Technology: Tellie's AI technology and app design are our intellectual property
• Trademarks: "Tellie" and our owl logo are our trademarks
• License: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive license to use the App

7. AI-Generated Content

• Content Filtering: We filter content for age-appropriateness, but AI isn't perfect
• Parental Review: Parents should review stories before sharing with children
• Reporting Issues: Please report any inappropriate content to us immediately
• No Guarantees: We can't guarantee all AI-generated content will be perfect
