These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of TimeSlip mobile application ("Service") operated by TimeSlip ("us", "we", or "our").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using TimeSlip, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. Additionally, when using this app's particular services, you shall be subject to any posted guidelines or rules applicable to such services.

2. Description of Service

TimeSlip is a time tracking and productivity analysis application that allows users to:

• Track time spent on various activities
• Categorize and organize time entries
• Receive AI-powered insights about time usage patterns
• Access advanced features through Pro subscription
• Sync data across devices via iCloud (Pro feature)

3. User Accounts and Eligibility

3.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use TimeSlip. If you are under 18, you must have parental consent to use the Service.

3.2 Account Responsibility

While TimeSlip doesn't require account creation, you are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your device
• Protecting your data and backup methods
• All activities that occur under your usage

4. Acceptable Use

4.1 Permitted Use

You may use TimeSlip for:

• Personal time tracking and productivity analysis
• Legitimate business or professional time monitoring
• Educational or research purposes
• Any lawful purpose that aligns with the app's intended functionality

4.2 Prohibited Use

You agree NOT to use TimeSlip for:

• Any unlawful or fraudulent purposes
• Monitoring others without their explicit consent
• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract source code
• Creating derivative works or competitive products
• Circumventing security measures or access controls
• Distributing malware or harmful code

5. Subscription and Payment Terms

5.1 Free and Pro Features

TimeSlip offers both free and premium (Pro) features:

• Free: Basic time tracking, 7-day history, daily AI insights
• Pro: Unlimited history, weekly reports, data export, iCloud sync

5.2 Subscription Management

Pro subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store:

• Payment is charged through your Apple ID account
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal
• You can manage subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings
• Refunds are handled according to Apple's refund policy

5.3 Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify subscription prices. Existing subscribers will be notified of changes in advance through the App Store.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

6.1 Our Rights

TimeSlip and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

6.2 Your Data Rights

You retain ownership of all data you create within TimeSlip, including:

• Notes and personal information

6.3 License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use TimeSlip for your personal or business time tracking needs.

8. Service Availability and Modifications

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TimeSlip and its affiliates from any claims, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

11.1 Termination by You

You may stop using TimeSlip at any time by deleting the app from your device. Your subscription will continue until the end of the current billing period unless cancelled.

11.2 Termination by Us

We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Service.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

12.1 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where TimeSlip is developed, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

12.2 Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of TimeSlip shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes through:

• App Store update notifications
• In-app announcements
• Updates to this webpage

Your continued use of TimeSlip after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish the objectives of such provision to the greatest extent possible under applicable law, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

These Terms of Service are effective as of January 2025 and apply to all users of TimeSlip.
