Subscription Terms

These Subscription Terms govern your purchase and use of premium features in the Prepair mobile application ("App"). By subscribing to Prepair Premium, you agree to these terms in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. Subscription Plans

Prepair Premium includes:

- Video Interview Mode: Practice with camera recording and playback
- Advanced Feedback: Detailed scoring and improvement recommendations
- Custom Questions: Create and save your own interview questions
- Interview History: Unlimited storage of past interview sessions
- Audio/Video Recordings: Save and review your interview recordings
2.2 Career Tools
- Career Coach: Unlimited access to personalized career guidance
- Application Tracker: Track unlimited job applications
- Professional Headshots: Generate headshots with CV model
- Progress Analytics: Advanced performance metrics and insights
- Salary Negotiation Tools: Simulation and coaching for negotiations
2.3 Additional Benefits
- Priority Support: Faster response times for customer support
- Early Access: Beta features and new capabilities before public release
- Offline Access: Download interview questions for offline practice
- Multi-Device Sync: Seamless sync across all your devices
- No Ads: Ad-free experience (if we introduce ads for free users)
3. Free Trial
New users may be eligible for a free trial period:
- Trial Duration: Typically 7 days (may vary by promotion)
- Full Access: Access all premium features during trial
- Automatic Billing: You will be charged at the end of the trial unless you cancel
- Cancellation: Cancel anytime during the trial to avoid charges
- One Trial: Free trial is available once per user
IMPORTANT: Your subscription will automatically renew and you will be charged unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of your trial or current subscription period.
4. Payment and Billing
4.1 Payment Method
- All payments are processed through Apple's In-App Purchase system
- Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account
- We do not have access to your payment information
- Subscription management is handled through RevenueCat
4.2 Billing Cycle
- Start Date: Billing begins immediately upon subscription (or after free trial ends)
- Renewal Date: Your subscription renews on the same day each billing period
- Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled
- Charge Timing: You will be charged within 24 hours prior to the renewal date
4.3 Payment Confirmation
- Confirmation of your purchase will be sent to the email associated with your Apple ID
- You can view your purchase history in the App Store
- Your subscription status is visible in Prepair Settings → Subscription
5. Subscription Management
5.1 Viewing Your Subscription
To view your active subscription:
- Open Prepair app
- Go to Settings → Subscription
- Or go to iOS Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions
5.2 Cancelling Your Subscription
To cancel your subscription:
- Open iOS Settings
- Tap [Your Name] at the top
- Tap Subscriptions
- Select Prepair Premium
- Tap "Cancel Subscription"
After Cancellation:
- You will retain premium access until the end of your current billing period
- Your subscription will not renew
- You will not receive a refund for the unused portion of your subscription
- After expiration, you will revert to the free tier
5.3 Reactivating Subscription
You can reactivate a cancelled subscription anytime before it expires:
- Follow the cancellation steps above
- Tap "Renew Subscription" instead
- Your subscription will continue at the next billing cycle
6. Price Changes
6.1 Notification
- We reserve the right to change subscription prices at any time
- You will be notified at least 30 days before any price change
- Notification will be sent via email and/or in-app message
6.2 Existing Subscriptions
- Price changes apply to future billing cycles
- Your current billing cycle will not be affected
- You may cancel before the price change takes effect
- Continued use after price change notification constitutes acceptance
7. Refunds and Returns
7.1 Refund Policy
All purchases are subject to Apple's refund policies:
- Refund requests must be submitted through Apple, not through Prepair
- We cannot process refunds directly
- Apple determines refund eligibility based on their policies
- Generally, refunds are not provided for subscription renewals
7.2 How to Request a Refund
- Go to reportaproblem.apple.com
- Sign in with your Apple ID
- Find your Prepair purchase
- Select "Report a Problem"
- Follow the prompts to request a refund
7.3 Refund Exceptions
Refunds may be granted in cases of:
- Technical issues preventing use of the service
- Unauthorized purchases
- Billing errors
- Service not as described (subject to Apple's review)

8. Promotional Offers
8.1 Eligibility
- Promotional pricing may be offered from time to time
- Eligibility requirements will be specified in the promotion
- Promotions cannot be combined unless explicitly stated
- We reserve the right to modify or cancel promotions at any time
8.2 Terms
- Promotional rates apply only for the specified period
- After promotion expires, standard pricing applies
- Promotional pricing is typically for first-time subscribers only
9. Account and Subscription Transfer
9.1 Account Ownership
- Subscriptions are linked to your Apple ID and Prepair account
- Subscriptions are non-transferable between accounts
- Subscriptions are non-transferable between devices with different Apple IDs
9.2 Family Sharing
- Prepair Premium does not currently support Apple Family Sharing
- Each user must maintain their own subscription
- We may offer family plans in the future
10. Service Availability
10.1 Geographic Restrictions
- Prepair Premium is available in all regions where the App is distributed
- Some features may not be available in all countries
- Pricing varies by country and currency
10.2 Service Modifications
We reserve the right to:
- Add, modify, or remove features at any time
- Change feature availability between subscription tiers
- Discontinue the service with 90 days' notice
- Suspend service for maintenance or security reasons
11. Downgrading to Free Tier
When your subscription expires or is cancelled:
- Loss of Access: Premium features become unavailable
- Data Retention: Your data is retained (interview history, profile, etc.)
- View-Only: You can view premium content but cannot create new content
- Reactivation: Resubscribing restores full premium access
11.1 Free Tier Limitations
Free tier includes:
- Limited interview practice sessions (5 per month)
- Basic feedback and scoring
- Limited interview history (last 10 sessions)
- Basic career coach access (3 questions per month)
- No video recording or advanced analytics
12. Payment Problems
12.1 Failed Payments
If a payment fails:
- Apple will attempt to charge your payment method
- You will receive a notification to update your payment information
- Your subscription may be suspended until payment is resolved
- After multiple failed attempts, your subscription may be cancelled
12.2 Resolving Issues
- Update your payment information in App Store settings
- Contact Apple Support for billing issues

13. Taxes
- Prices do not include applicable taxes
- Sales tax, VAT, GST, or other taxes will be added where required
- Tax rates are determined by your location and Apple's policies
- Final price (including taxes) is shown before purchase confirmation
14. EU and GDPR Compliance
14.1 Right to Cancel (EU)
If you are located in the European Union:
- You have 14 days to cancel without reason (EU Consumer Rights Directive)
- This right begins from the date of purchase
- By starting to use the service immediately, you may waive the right to cancel

15. California Subscription Requirements
California users are entitled to the following information:
- Automatic Renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled
- Cancellation: You may cancel at any time through iOS Settings
- Price: The current subscription price is displayed before purchase
- Length: Subscription length (monthly, quarterly, annual) is clearly indicated

17. Changes to Subscription Terms

18. Integration with Other Terms
These Subscription Terms are part of and subject to:
In case of conflict, these Subscription Terms take precedence for subscription-related matters.
