Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Butter mobile application ("App") operated by Karol Jaworski ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
By accessing or using Butter, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and that you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Subscription Terms. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent's or legal guardian's permission to use the App.
Butter is a cooking recipe application that uses artificial intelligence (specifically, Grok by xAI) to generate personalized recipes based on your dietary preferences, available ingredients, kitchen equipment, and cooking skill level. The App provides:
Butter can be used without creating an account. If you choose to create an account using Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.
Butter offers a free tier that includes up to 5 AI-generated recipes per week. Free-tier features may be modified at our discretion.
Premium features are available through a Butter+ subscription. Subscription plans, pricing, and detailed terms are described in our Subscription Terms.
All subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID settings (Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions).
All payments are processed through Apple's App Store. We do not collect or store any payment or financial information. Pricing is displayed in your local currency and may vary by region.
Butter does not provide medical or nutritional advice. AI-generated recipes may contain inaccuracies regarding nutritional content, allergen information, or cooking safety. You should:
While we strive to generate high-quality recipes, AI-generated content may occasionally include errors, unusual ingredient combinations, or impractical instructions. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any recipe.
Although Butter allows you to set dietary preferences and ingredient dislikes, the AI may not always perfectly exclude all specified allergens or ingredients. Always review generated recipes carefully before preparing them, especially if you have food allergies or intolerances.
The App, including its design, code, graphics, user interface, and original content, is the property of Karol Jaworski and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App.
Recipes generated by the AI are provided for your personal, non-commercial use. You are free to cook, share, and modify any recipes generated for you. We do not claim ownership of the specific recipes generated for you, but we retain rights to the underlying technology and systems that produce them.
Any content you provide to the App (preferences, ingredient lists, etc.) remains your property. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to use this information to provide and improve our services.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Karol Jaworski from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the App, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of a third party.
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. If you have an account, you may request account deletion by contacting us at karoljaworsky@gmail.com.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Reasons for termination may include violation of these Terms, abuse of the service, or fraudulent activity.
Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Locally stored data will remain on your device until you delete the App. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law) shall survive.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page and, where appropriate, through an in-app notification. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Poland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of the App shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if that fails, through the courts of competent jurisdiction in Poland.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, EULA, and Subscription Terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and Karol Jaworski regarding the use of the App.
