Getting Started

Creating Your Account

  1. Download Prepair from the Apple App Store
  2. Open the app and tap "Get Started"
  3. Enter your email address and create a password
  4. Complete the onboarding questionnaire
  5. Start practicing interviews!

Setting Up Your Profile

A complete profile helps us personalize your experience:

Go to Profile → Edit Profile to complete your information.

Your First Interview Practice

  1. Go to the Practice tab
  2. Choose an interview type (Smart Interview, Professional, Video, etc.)
  3. Select your target role and difficulty
  4. Grant microphone permission when prompted
  5. Answer the questions naturally
  6. Review your feedback and score

Account & Login Issues

Can't Log In?

Solution:

Forgot Your Password?

  1. Tap "Forgot Password" on the login screen
  2. Enter your email address
  3. Check your email for a password reset link
  4. Click the link and create a new password
  5. Log in with your new password

Want to Delete Your Account?

Steps:

  1. Go to Settings → Profile
  2. Scroll to the bottom
  3. Tap "Delete Account"
  4. Confirm deletion
Warning: This action is permanent. All your data, including interview history, will be deleted within 30 days and cannot be recovered.

Alternatively, email karoljaworsky@gmail.com to request account deletion.

How to Subscribe

  1. Tap Upgrade to Premium in the app
  2. Choose your preferred plan
  3. Confirm with Face ID/Touch ID or password
  4. Start using premium features immediately

Managing Your Subscription

To cancel or modify:

  1. Open iOS Settings
  2. Tap your name at the top
  3. Tap Subscriptions
  4. Select Prepair Premium
  5. Choose "Cancel Subscription" or change plan

Requesting a Refund

Refunds are handled by Apple:

  1. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com
  2. Sign in with your Apple ID
  3. Find your Prepair purchase
  4. Select "Report a Problem"
  5. Choose refund reason and submit

Try these fixes:

  1. Force close the app and reopen it
  2. Restart your device
  3. Update to the latest version from the App Store
  4. Free up storage space on your device
  5. If problem persists, email us with device model and iOS version

Microphone Not Working

  1. Go to iOS Settings → Privacy → Microphone
  2. Find Prepair and toggle it ON
  3. Restart the app
  4. Test with a practice interview

Camera Not Working (Video Interviews)

  1. Go to iOS Settings → Privacy → Camera
  2. Find Prepair and toggle it ON
  3. Restart the app
  4. Try video interview mode again

Currently, Prepair is only available for iOS devices. Android support is planned for the future.

Can I use Prepair offline?

Premium users can download interview questions for offline practice. However, scoring, feedback, and Career Coach require an internet connection.

How accurate is the interview feedback?

Our feedback is powered by advanced models. However, it should be used as a practice tool, not as definitive career advice. Always verify important information with qualified professionals.

Can I practice in languages other than English?

Yes! Prepair supports 30+ languages. Select your language in Settings → Preferences → Language.

Are my interview recordings stored?

Recordings are stored locally on your device. If you enable backup, they're securely stored in cloud storage. You can delete recordings anytime.

Will using Prepair guarantee I get a job?

No. Prepair is a practice tool to improve your interview skills. Job outcomes depend on many factors including qualifications, market conditions, and employer preferences.

Can I share my account with others?

No. Each user must have their own account. Account sharing violates our Terms of Service and may result in suspension.
